Merman. After a period of adjustment they settled into a daily routine of simulating
various episodes in the life of the 23rd President of the United States, Martin Van Buren. For example, here is Simulation #453: "President Van Buren crosses the Alps with Hannibal in 150 B.C."
Dramatis Personae Hannibal is played by Ethel
Merman. Scene 1 From a point far in the Alps, Hannibal, dressed in scuba gear and carrying his ever-present set of bagpipes, turns towards his men and says, "Well, what say we head back?" The end.
